Rotachain automatic snow chains offers a reliable solution for dangerous driving situations and ensure greater safety during frosty seasons. With just the push of a button in the cab, you can switch Rotachain on or off – both when stationary and while driving, forwards or backwards. When activated, the sprockets are guided to the tire sidewall and thus driven according to the bicycle dynamo principle.
The chain strands in turn are lifted by the centrifugal forces and are thrown under the drive wheels to provide the necessary grip within a few seconds. When Rotachain is no longer needed, simply and conveniently switch it off at low speed. Automatic snow chains not only serve as a starting aid, but can also be used up to a speed of 50 km/h.
