LUIS brake light kit f. VW Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter (from 200

The new LUIS reversing camera especially for Mercedes Sprinter from 2006 (W906) and VW Crafter. Quick and easy installation by replacing the existing brake light. No drilling required.
The well-known problem: a reversing camera cannot be easily fitted to vehicles with rear doors. If you use a conventional body-mounted camera, you can align it downwards, but the rear of many vehicles is slightly rounded at the top. A normal reversing camera would capture this curvature and thus obscure the trailer coupling, the running board or the bumper.
The LUIS solution: the reversing camera was integrated into the 3rd brake light glass of the Mercedes Sprinter/VW Crafter. The camera thus provides a view beyond the curvature and captures the entire rear wall, bumper and any attachments. This makes precise maneuvering possible.
The angle of the camera module can be adjusted vertically and can therefore be perfectly adapted to the conditions on your vehicle. Even at night: the powerful IR LEDs reliably penetrate the darkness and bring light into the close-up area of the rear section. The automatic white balance and, in particular, the automatic compensation of backlighting ensure good visibility even in challenging lighting conditions. Optimal conditions for accident-free driving and improved work efficiency.
In addition to the first-class material and processing quality, the LUIS camera scores points with its unconditional readiness for use, impressively underpinned by long-term tests. From - 30°C to + 70°C, whether dust, rain or salt water, the camera module performs its valuable services and lets nothing pass.
The camera can be conveniently connected to our powerful LUIS monitors or with the corresponding adapter from LUIS (article no. 245559380) to your Mercedes Audio 15 (with pre-installation code: FR7/8) or with the adapter (article no. 245559385) to your VW Crafter RSD4000 or RNS6000.
Naturally, LUIS has the necessary CE and E-Mark certificates for both the camera and the brake light.
