LUIS R7-S Compact System w/ shutter camera

The LUIS R7-S Compact system was specially developed for trucks, commercial vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles such as excavators, construction vehicles, combine harvesters and tractors. A special feature here is the shutter camera in a compact design and made of particularly robust stainless steel. The automatically closing cover provides additional protection for the camera against dirt, rain and snow. To enable powerful night vision, even in complete darkness (0 lux), the LUIS R7-S Stainless Steel Compact is equipped with IR light-emitting diodes and enables a view of up to 15 m in the dark. The large viewing angle of 150 degrees enables a wide field of vision behind the vehicle. The robust design makes it suitable for use in extreme conditions. The camera is designed to withstand up to 10 G vibration and up to 100 G impact and has the highest protection class IP69k. Operation is also possible at temperatures from -30 to +70 °C. A heater is also installed for unfavorable weather conditions.
The LUIS R7-S monitor has an extra anti-glare screen and therefore provides a 100% overview of the vehicle even in glare and high ambient brightness. The shock-resistant mounting bracket and the robust design of the reversing system allow it to be used even in the toughest conditions. The monitor automatically adapts to the external lighting conditions and automatically switches on the keypad lighting if required. Depending on the requirements of the LUIS R7-S, guide lines for easy maneuvering can be displayed via the multilingual menu. Two cameras can be connected to the monitor.
A connection to your OEM on-board system or navigation system (e.g. Mercedes FleetBoard or MAN MMT) is also possible via corresponding LUIS adapters. A connection via radio transmitter to a radio system or monitor is also possible with the corresponding accessories.
