The LUIS TURN DETECT® turning assistant with 7" monitor and GPS now also for the left-hand side (left turn).The LUIS TURN DETECT® complies with the requirements of the BMVI recommendation for turning assistants:- Detection area of at least 2.5 m x 6 m.- Can be activated via direction indicator (blinker) and speed (GPS). Differentiation between moving objects such as cyclists and static objects (such as parked cars, etc.).- Two-stage warning: purely optical for cyclists in the danger zone and additional acoustic warning through blinker activation.- Driver information in the event of a malfunction (e.g. defective camera).- A general operating permit (ABE) has been issued by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), irrespective of the vehicle type. However, an installation range of the camera sensor system must be observed:- Minimum installation height of 1.80 m (maximum 4 m)- Distance to the front of the vehicle min. 1 m /max. 6 mExternal alarms (e.g. an LED warning light, side marker lights) can be activated via an additional control output (I/O).
