This adjustable compensation linkage is suitable for roof bows with a roof pitch of 0 mm and 50 mm. On the VP Classic (155), the linkage must be adapted to the top by changing the lower, cranked linkage extension from the outside to the inside. The difference between the linkages is the distance between the mounting holes for the trolleys when extended. The 570 mm variant is primarily used for all twisting systems, whereby the superstructure is always fitted from the end to the front and the foremost combination of roller carriage, linkage and roof bow viewed from rear of vehicle is connected to the fixed front wall bow using a Ø 4 mm safety cable that can be adjusted in length. The foremost roof bow should have a distance of 200mm - 300mm to the end wall bow. In order to be able to maintain this distance with the large number of body lengths, adjustable compensation linkages are fitted as the foremost linkage, which allow a roller carriage distance of 460mm or 330mm. The situation is slightly different with the "canopy can be moved on both sides" variant.
